These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to
and use of the website operated by
SRI INFOIT ("we", "our", "SRI INFOIT").
By accessing this site or sending us an enquiry through it, you
agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do
not use this site.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply to your use of this website at
https://sriinfoit.com
and any sub-pages. They do not, by themselves, govern any
commercial engagement between us — that is the subject of a
separate written agreement (see §9).
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information
Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, and do not require any
physical or digital signature.
2. Permitted use
You may browse this site to learn about our services, view our
published articles, request a quote, and download materials we
explicitly publish for download (such as the company profile
PDF). Personal, non-commercial use of public-facing content is
permitted without prior permission. Commercial reproduction
(e.g. republishing our articles on another site, selling copies
of our materials) is not permitted without written consent.
3. Our content and intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, articles,
diagrams, illustrations, code samples, logos, and the SRI INFOIT
word mark — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is
protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and
related laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create
derivative works of this content for commercial purposes without
our prior written consent, except as permitted by fair-use
provisions of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
Our service-method documentation, architecture diagrams, and any
proprietary tooling shared as part of an engagement remain our
intellectual property unless the engagement contract expressly
assigns ownership.
4. Your submissions
When you send us a message through the contact form or by email:
You retain ownership of the contents of your message. We do
not claim a licence over your enquiry content beyond what is
necessary to respond to it and deliver any service you engage
us to deliver.
You confirm that your message does not infringe any third
party's rights and is not unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or
otherwise objectionable.
You agree not to submit malicious code, attempt to inject
executable content, or use the contact form to send unsolicited
marketing.
We process and retain submissions per our
Privacy Policy.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, our servers,
or any related infrastructure (this includes network
reconnaissance, exploiting vulnerabilities, brute-forcing
forms, or bypassing rate-limits).
Scrape the site at a rate that disrupts service for other users
or interferes with our security monitoring. (Reasonable,
rate-limited crawling by well-behaved bots that respect
robots.txt is fine.)
Reproduce our content in a way that would mislead a third party
about its origin (e.g. pretending one of our articles is your
own work or your firm's work).
Use any data obtained from this site to compile a database for
resale or redistribution.
Use this site for any unlawful purpose, including in
contravention of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the
Indian Penal Code, or applicable foreign law.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it
through our security policy.
We commit not to pursue legal action against good-faith
researchers who follow the disclosure process described there.
6. Third-party links and OEM marks
This site contains links to third-party sites (e.g. OEM partner
portals, public sources cited in our articles). We do not
control, and are not responsible for, the content, privacy
practices, or availability of those sites. A link is not an
endorsement.
References to OEM products and brands — including but not
limited to Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, HPE,
Sophos, Microsoft, Nutanix, Dell, Cloudflare and others —
identify those vendors' products for descriptive purposes only.
All trademarks, service marks, product names, and logos used on
this site are the property of their respective owners. Our use
of these names does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or
affiliation beyond a documented partnership where one exists.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
This site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Subject to applicable law, we make no warranties or
representations — express or implied — about the
accuracy, completeness, currency, or fitness for any particular
purpose of the information on this site.
Articles, case studies, and technical commentary published on
this site reflect general engineering perspective at the time of
publication. They are not consulting advice for your specific
environment. Specific recommendations — such as a product
choice, an architecture decision, or a security posture —
require an engagement under a separate written contract.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate
liability arising out of or relating to your use of this website
is limited to INR 1,000 (one thousand rupees).
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or
consequential damages, including lost profits or business
interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
This limitation applies only to use of the website. Liability
arising from a separate engagement contract is governed by that
contract's terms.
9. Engagement terms (separate)
Nothing on this site constitutes an offer or commitment by us to
provide services. Sending us an enquiry does not create a
contractual relationship. A formal engagement begins only when
both parties sign a written Statement of Work, Service Order, or
Master Services Agreement that describes scope, deliverables,
commercial terms, SLAs, and any data-processing arrangements.
For engagements that involve our processing of your personal
data on your behalf, we will sign a Data Processing Agreement
(see DPA) supplementing the engagement
contract.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party
claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your
misuse of this site, or (c) your infringement of any third
party's intellectual-property rights through content you submit
to us. This indemnity does not extend to claims arising from
our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Termination
We may, at our sole discretion, restrict, suspend, or terminate
your access to this site at any time, with or without notice,
if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or
engaged in conduct that may harm the site or other users.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination
— intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of
liability, indemnity, governing law — will survive.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with,
the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection
with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts at
Visakhapatnam,
Andhra Pradesh,
India.
Before approaching the courts, the parties agree to attempt to
resolve any dispute through written communication and good-faith
discussion for a period of 30 days from the
date of first written notice.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date
at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Your
continued use of the site after a change is published
constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material
changes, we will surface a prominent notice on the site for at
least 14 days before the change takes effect.
